Zero

None is the total amount of the military carbon footprint that has been historically reported to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change. Zero emissions. Amazing.

Several studies have estimated the total amount of military carbon emissions to be 5-6% of global emissions, a figure similar to those of the industry, waste, and building sectors, or even more than aviation, shipping, and forestry combined. Accurate?

Who knows? Despite having combat zones on all continents, there are still no obligations for States to report military emissions to the UN. Better to keep it unknown or nonexistent.
